At 11am last Saturday Glen Innes Pistol Club held its first Service Pistol match since the installation of the new target frames on range 3. The new frames worked well and are a definite improvement on the previous frames.
Club Captain Jan Bowen was the first to ring the bell on the new frames. We refrained from delivering the previously promised horse whipping for the first bell ringer as she is quite well liked :) ....... that plus we were scared to try.
While the Service Match was taking place club member Mary Funnell had her first Air Match with her own equipment. All in all she was pleased with the outcome and stated that she looks forward to seeing what she can do in the future.
At 1pm a Rapid Fire match was contested.
