Our first Open for 2018 is now over and the Committee is very pleased with the success of the event, especially financially.
In terms of Matches contested, this is the largest event held by the Club in at least the last 20 years with 173 matches contested and just short of 11,500 shots fired during the competition.
Men's 5 Match Aggregate was won by Chris Mamouzelos with Olivia Erickson winning both the Junior Aggregate and the Ladies 3 Match Aggregate
The Committee would like to thank all the Competitors and non shooters who provided assistance in any way over the weekend. Without this assistance, the event would not be able to be held.
Our raffle was very well supported both in ticket sales and the generosity of prize donors.

The first Open shoot for 2018 is now upon us and everything that could be done to prepare is now done.

Contestants began arriving last night picking their preferred camping spot or checking in to their motels with many more arriving today and tomorrow.

There has been two huge Saturday working bees in a row tidying up mowing cleaning and preparing targets and several members have also put extra time in during the week to do some of those little jobs that just did not get done on the weekend

We have received a total of 54 Entries making this one of the biggest held in terms of entries but more importantly, a total of 177 matches will be contested which appears to be by far and away the biggest ISSF event ever hosted by the Club. We have received apologies from a further 9 potential/regular contestants which, if they had all came, would have made this a massive event

Competition gets under way Friday at 3 pm with a match of Standard Pistol and a Match of Air Pistol with competition on Saturday and Sunday commencing at 8 am
