Considering the at times very heavy rain last Saturday, there was a reasonable turnout at the Club with 4 members to contest Sport Pistol and Centre Fire match with another to act as Range Officer.
Bruce won the day with an off barrel 570.
An Extraordinary General Meeting has been called for next weekend in addition to a "fun day".
A Centre Fire/Sport Pistol Match will be contested at 10 am with an alternate match of Air Pistol with Lunch at approximately 12 noon supplied by the Club followed by the Extraordinary General Meeting and then a Standard Pistol Match in the afternoon with alternate Matches of Rapid Fire and Air Pistol.
We hope to see a strong turnout of members to take advantage of the multiple matches and the Free Lunch as well as take part in the Extraordinary General Meeting which should take well less than 30 minutes 

Scores for the last two weeks have now been added to the results page.

It is pleasing to see better attendances over the last two weeks with seven attending on 10/10/2020 and five on 17/10/2020 (one acting as Range Officer).

Michelle had previously fired approx 20 Precision shots and 30 Rapid Fire shots for 25 m Pistol with her .22 and contested Ladies 25 Metre Pistol last Saturday for the first time and surprised herself by topping the scores sheets and breaking into "C" Grade at first attempt. It is fair to say that she loves this match.

Match of the day next Saturday is again Centre Fire/Sports Pistol commencing at 1 pm

After a number of false starts, I have now updated all scores since early August on the Results page.

There has been several weeks were, due to a number of factors, no competition occurred leaving gaps in the dates on the results page.

Hopefully, as the weather improves, we will again see better attendances each weekend.

Over recent weeks, we have had two new members transfer in from Tamworth as a result of a transfer to Glen Innes with their employment.

It appears we will receive another new member transferring in from a Queensland club as a result of a change in attitude by FAR for Pistol Shooters living close to the border being a member of a Club in another state- although in this particular case, the ruling is being questioned.

All members should have received the proposed new Club Constitution which was approved by the Club Committee and has now been approved by NSW Amateur Pistol Association for adoption by our Club members.
This proposed constitution will bring the club in to line with all present Regulations and Acts governing our sport.

A notice of Extraordinary General Meeting has been sent to all members advising the meeting date of 31st October 2020 and the activities planned for Club Members on that day.

The Executive would like to see a strong turnout on the day.
