Saturday 25/8/12 saw two matches contested and also some welcome visitors in Robert and Dan Landers.
Robert, Dan and Gary Miller shot Standard and the results can be viewed on the match results 2012 page. 

Wayne tells me that Robert had to progressively adjust the sights throughout the match and has not fired a pistol in ten years which makes his results pretty impressive. We can't wait to see what he can do with a pistol that has been sighted in.

Trevor Rees and Peter Martin shot a Rapid match and their results can also be viewed on match results 2012.

Glen Innes Pistol Club held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 18/8/12.

There was a free lunch provided and 16 members attended. 

Ron Reed stepped down as Club President for personal reasons but chose
to retain the position of Scorer. Glen Innes Pistol Club would like to extend
many thanks to Ron for his tireless service and commitment to the club over many
years and we look forward to his company for many more.  

Wayne Unicomb advised that the new target frames for range 3 are very nearly complete.
The working bee days for installation of the frame receivers are to be advised.

Saturday 4/8/12 was a beautiful day to shoot at Glen Innes Pistol Club.

Initially there was a service match involving Rick, Jan and myself.
This didn't go to well for any of us but Rick and Jan were tuning in their new gear so at least they had an excuse. 
There were jokes being chucked around about there being no need to display the scores and we all laughed...........later that day when the results were emailed to me the service scores were gone.
A mystery I'm sure will never be solved.

We then retired for lunch to build up our strength for Standard.

The Standard match went well and luckily those results are still available on the match results 2012 page.

Margaret Mitchell shot an Air match by herself and those results are also available..

Attention Members: The third weekend in August is the AGM. All members are expected to attend.

Ps Congratulations from the Club go out to Kimberly Mitchell for winning her Karate tournament.

Production of the new target frames for range 3 are going ahead nicely thanks to Rick and Wayne and will be ready for installation in late August. Exact working bee date to be advised.
All members are urged to attend the working bee for installation of the 25m frame receivers.
The following week will be the working bee for installation of the 50m frame receivers so as to ensure they are installed and ready for the September Open..
