It would seem that the much needed rain turned members away from the Club yesterday were a very welcome 40 mm of rain was received.

Bob had travelled over on Friday night camping at the Club doing some much needed repairs around the Club house and Ranges 1 and 2 Saturday morning.

Wayne completed a Firearms Safety Awareness Course for a visitor before Lunch earning a small donation for the Club.

The rain cleared early afternoon and Bob and Wayne then contested an Air Pistol Match both recording scores below their par but enjoying the event - possibly the last Air Pistol Match before the final stage of upgrading the Air Range is undertaken over the next few months.

Match next weekend will be Standard Pistol commencing at 1 pm

After further updates to the Club Data Base which calculates Champions for each match as well as handicaps and membership attendances, we have finally been able to update scores for the last month on this site.

Match of the day on Saturday is Centre Fire/Sports Pistol commencing at 1 pm sharp

Work commences on 13/4/2019 to complete the upgrade of the Air Range and any assistance on the day would be very much appreciated as we prepare the area from the shooting bays forward to the targets to install the new trusses and Z purlins. We would hope to possibly install the Trusses that weekend as well and, at this stage, we hope to install all purlins over Easter in readiness for the insulation and colour bond roof sheeting.

We would expect that installation of the entire roof (including replacing the existing roof over the shooting bays) will take 4 to 6 working days and the internal work installing the wall insulation and lining, new lighting and seats will take a further 3 or 4 working days by members plus a couple of days mid week with the electrician.

The end result will be a facility we can all be proud of and one which will require very little maintenance in the future
