It was a perfect day for a shoot last Saturday at Glen Innes Pistol Club.

There was a good showing of members and visitors and it turned out to be a great day.

25 Yard Service commenced at 11am with Rapid Fire at 1pm. As usual the Air Range was put to good use by
some of our lady members.

Glen Innes Pistol Club is holding a Pistol Australia Holster Accreditation Course on Saturday
11/5/13 starting at 10am.
Participants must have experience in Service Unrestricted, approved equipment (holster, service pistol, etc) and 90 Rounds. This course is free to Glen Innes Pistol Club members. Those interested must contact us through the contact us page prior to the course date for paperwork purposes.
So if you want to shoot Service Pistol alongside these fine gentlemen..........

you know what to do.

Glen Innes Pistol Club had an excellent meet last Saturday. There was a good turnout of members and visitors making it an enjoyable shoot for all.

Service Pistol commenced at 11am with one of our newer members having his first go at the match with a .22
rimfire pistol. Technically his score is unofficial as Service can only be shot with a Centre Fire pistol but he got a feel for the match and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

After lunch Centrefire and Sports Pistol was contested on Range 2 and Air Pistol was shot on the Air
Range.

During the scheduled 1pm match club members Martin Moxey and Andrew Funnell took a visiting family to Range 1 to demonstrate the safe use of a variety of equipment including a beautiful Black Powder Revolver. Andrew has had very limited experience with Black Powder and it was difficult to tell who was more
excited, him or the visitors.

Next week is Rapid Fire and as always visitors are most welcome to attend.

Last Saturday Glen Innes Pistol Club held Service Pistol at 11am and the Black Powder Club Championships at 1pm.
There wasn’t a large turnout of shooters for the Club Championship match possibly as a result of the poor weather conditions.
Club President Rick Bowen took out both Service Pistol and Black Powder with Club Captain Jan Bowen taking out Service Unrestricted.
Next week is Centre Fire and Sports Pistol.
