A great turnout last Saturday with 3 Air Pistol Matches and 7 Centre Fire/ Sports Pistol Matches contested in addition to a successful AGM being held with 14 members in attendance.
A further 9 members were prevented from attending due to COVID conditions and submitted apologies.
The Executive Committee remained the same with 3 new Committee persons elected to give the Club a full Committee position and will inject some new blood and ideas into the management of the Club
Two recently joined new members were welcomed to their first attendance/meeting as members of the Club.
We have now had to close the Club until further notice as a result of the COVID Lockdown for the entire State which came into effect at 5 pm on Saturday. Hopefully, this will end this weekend so that we can continue to repair the termite damaged walls and Office floor in the short term.
An advice will be sent out via email to all members when we can resume "normal" operations under the then existing COVID guidelines and restrictions.

Work continued on replacing the termite damaged timber in the wall yesterday and everything is now ready for the wall frame and the floor in the Office to be properly treated on Tuesday morning to prevent termites further damaging that wall.
Three Air Matches and one Partial Air Match as practice were contested before lunch with a Centre Fire/Sports Pistol Match contested in the afternoon with Wayne acting as Range Officer.
Charles had a break and cease to function in the first series with his Centre Fire revolver and contested the match with a .357 Thompson Contender. He was exceptionally busy and quick in the Rapid Fire Stage, ejecting the spent shell reloading and setting the trigger in approx. 7 seconds ready for the next shot and only missed firing one shot. Certainly not the easy way to shoot the Centre Fire Rapid Fire stage of the match.
Match of the day next week will again be Centre Fire/Sport Pistol with the Annual General Meeting to be held at the conclusion of that match expected to be about 2.30 pm. - COVID willing.
Hopefully, we will see a strong turnout of members for the meeting.
