First Black Powder match in over 12 months and the first in our new Range Building contested last Saturday and the scores are indicative of the time frame since last fired and the amount of practice/training now required to get reasonable scores again.
Only three members made it to the Club on the day which was not surprising considering the continued wet weather and the heavy rain predicted for Saturday afternoon.
Hopefully, we will see a return to good attendances next Saturday with Centre Fire/Sport Pistol the scheduled match of the day and a Committee meeting also scheduled. 

After 12 months of the two 25 metre ranges being a Construction Zone, we are now up and running again on turning targets for the 25 metre matches
Our first Open shoot held since February 2021 was a great success with 160 matches contested over the two and a half days.
There were so many positive remarks made by visitors over the weekend about the new Range building and fitout with many photos taken.
Yesterday, only 4 members were in attendance which was not surprising considering it was quite cold and wet as well as a long weekend.
Three members contested a Standard Pistol Match and it was evident that there has been a severe lack of competition during the building construction phase with much more practice now needed.
Next weekend, the scheduled matches of the day are 25 metre Black Powder and Rapid Fire Pistol commencing at 1 pm and, weather permitting, we also intend to contest a 25 yard Service Pistol Match before lunch.
