Seven members contested the Centre Fire/Sport Pistol Match yesterday in less than ideal conditions with a wind chill factor of 3.1 degrees and wind gusts consistently exceeding 40 kmh. It was surprising that recorded scores were not much lower with the wind making it so difficult to hold a steady sight picture.
There will be no shooting next weekend. As stated several times over recent weeks, we have a 2 day working bee to remove the timber retaining wall at the entry to the Club house and install the large concrete blocks in their place and, time permitting, to undertake a few other small jobs preparing for our Open shoot next month.
If you can spare a few hours either Saturday or Sunday, your assistance will be greatly appreciated
