The Standard Matches were contested on Static Targets on Range 3 using a stop watch and whistle for timing but greatly enjoyed by the three members in attendance.
Scores have been added to the Match results 2022 page.
Matches to be contested next Saturday will be Centre Fire/Sports Pistol and Air Pistol.
NEW BUILDING
The new concrete Range floor was poured last Thursday and the new path was poured on Friday.
It is anticipated that construction of the remainder of the steel frame will occur this week with cladding installed shortly thereafter and the Electrician completing his work in 2 to 3 weeks in readiness for members to commence the fit out with new seating, bay dividers and firing lines, reinstalling the timing electronics and the eyebrow baffles and completing the Council requested extra drainage.
Planning for this project commenced in March 2020 with obtaining quotes and submitting a Grant request, gaining approval for the Grant, going through the lengthy process of preparing Engineered Plans, approval by Crown Lands and Council and then the construction process which was delayed severely through constant wet weather and delays in being able to source materials.
In the end, it will be all well worthwhile with a Range Facility as good as any in Rural NSW.
Hopefully, we will be fully operation again by the end of March, 2022
