A much better attendance yesterday at the Club with 10 members and 2 visitors in attendance
One visitor is a potential new member with connections in Glen Innes travelled from Armidale to have a look at the Club facilities and ascertain what is involved in joining a Club, gaining a licence and eventually obtaining firearms.
The second visitor travelled from Gunnedah to complete purchase of a near new Air Pistol and visited the club and shot a match of Air to try his new "toy" out. He indicated that he will be back in February to take part in the Club's February Open.
Four members contested a Standard Pistol Match, one undertook Practice in Air Pistol and three contested Air Pistol for the first time with Wayne acting as Range Officer and Coach.
Michelle surprised herself recording a score of 480 and breaking into "C" Grade in Ladies 60 Shot Air Pistol after only 3 days coaching over the last two months and previously only firing about 180 shots. Dick and Kim scored a little less but both have not previously shot a full Air Pistol match.
Match of the day next week is Centre Fire/Sport Pistol commencing at 1 pm sharp
