Saturday 28/4/12 was a particularly wet day but we didn't let that dampen our spirits.
Kristen Tom and Kimberly Mitchell shot Junior Ladies Air Pistol.
Kerri Tom and Margaret Mitchell shot Ladies Air.
The rest of us including Margaret shot Rapid Fire.
We also had the pleasure of a visit from Reddestone member Evan Brown who had not shot Rapid before and quite enjoyed himself. He shot well for a first timer at the match and won himself second place off barrel.
Unless I'm mistaken it was Gary Millers first Rapid Match as well. He was in the same detail as Evan and was leading him on points in the first half but Evan made a come back in the second half.
It was also Mary Funnell's first Rapid match and though reluctant at first she had a big grin by the end.
One of our newest members Gary Meehan received coaching from our Secretary and highly experienced coach Wayne Unicomb on range 2 while we ran our last Rapid detail through.
All in all a good time was had by all.
