The last of the 72 concrete blocks have now been placed on Range 2 to form the new retaining wall and the Target frames moved to enable the wall to be constructed have now been refitted. The roof over those Frames has also been reinstalled.
There is a fair bit of material to be removed from the range this weekend and the range needs to be re-levelled where the excavator has been working over recent weeks and all the concrete cleaned.
The end of the building over the firing line also has to be reconstructed this weekend to complete the work undertaken.
A working bee has been called again this Saturday to get this work all completed and as much tidy up around the facilities as possible in readiness for the Zone Championships and Glen Innes Open to be held on 14th,15th & 16th September.
The Executive is hoping for a good turnout of members so that this can all be completed in one day so that the facilities will present well for the Open.
